This calculator can help work out how much it costs to run household appliances. Use the drop-down box to select an appliance or fill in the boxes on the shaded rows to do your own calculations.

You can change the values in the boxes on the shaded rows to relect your personal usage. Click a colour bar to recalculate. For example, you can change the amount of time an appliance is used per month, or the watts for a lightbulb.
